London Fields Loft

E8 London, 2016

Long window and roof light providing the loft bedroom with plenty of daylight.

A new loft adds a room with a view on top of this existing terrace property. The bespoke timber stair makes clever use of otherwise redundant space by providing storage and shelving on the way up to this new bedroom area.

‘It’s been fun working with the BVDS team – which isn’t how I’d expected to describe what I had imagined would be a stressful process of doing a loft conversion whilst still living in the house . . . . and when there were complications, Ewald & George steered things back on track. We’re delighted with the result.’
